About the Role

Hastings Deering is on the hunt for a Service Coordinator to join Townsville Operations team. This is a Permanent, Monday to Friday role working out of our Townsville branch.

As a Service Coordinator, you will:

  • Provide a high-quality, cost-effective service that exceeds customer expectations and returns nil customer complaints
  • Monitor all jobs for quality and efficiency in conjunction with the Service Administration Supervisor
  • Follows up on any rework, write-off or goodwill requests with the Service Administration Supervisor
  • Accurately encoding all documentation relevant to AX as required by the Service Administration Supervisor
  • Ensure labour hours have been correctly encoded and that any missing labour hours are accounted for on a daily basis
  • Assist in the development of accurate customer estimate repairs when required and is delivered to the customer through AX
  • Responsible to be active with the Caterpillar Production Systems Service Operation Development and Assessment (SODA)
  • Effectively and accurately manage SIP/WIP and accurately forecast invoicing expectations

About You

A successful teammate will have experience in:

  • Qualifications in Business Administration is desirable
  • Experience working within a service orientated environment
  • Knowledge of CAT / HDAL products and services
  • Understanding of job workflow processes
  • Advanced skills in word, excel, power point, share point and Microsoft Dynamics AX
  • Impeccable attention to detail in your work
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while providing exceptional service to our internal and external customers
  • Proven stakeholder and customer engagement with a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
