About the Opportunity

The primary goal of this role is to grow Managed IT Services and foster an amazing sales culture.

Queensland Computers is searching for an experienced Sales Leader – Managed IT Services, to lead their dedicated team, focused on driving revenue growth for the business. Whilst offices exist in Bundaberg (Head Office), Brisbane, and the Sunshine Coast, the ideal candidate can be based anywhere in Queensland but must be comfortable conducting a weeks induction in Bundaberg with intermittent travel to the office, through their tenure.

This is not just another sales leadership role. Reporting directly to the Directors, you’ll take ownership of our corporate sales function and be accountable for building recurring revenue in Managed IT Services, while coaching and inspiring a talented sales team across multiple regions.

Your energy and hands-on leadership will be key to unlocking growth, shaping strategy, and strengthening client relationships. Success in this role will be measured by the results you deliver both in revenue growth and in the strength of the team you develop.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Leading and motivating the BDM, Account Management, Hybrid Sales, and Sales Admin teams to deliver results

- Driving growth through market analysis and identifying new opportunities

- Designing and executing Go-To-Market sales strategies that deliver measurable outcomes

- Building and strengthening client relationships to increase recurring revenue and retention

- Representing Queensland Computers at industry events and key client meetings to expand our presence

- Managing the preparation of compelling tenders, proposals, and submissions

- Coaching, mentoring, and developing sales staff to foster a high-performance culture

- Collaborating with Directors and product/tech teams to shape offerings and pricing strategies

- Supporting the team with technical knowledge and managing escalations to ensure client success

About You

We’re seeking an experienced Sales Leader who will bring the experience, the drive, and the mindset to take a successful business and accelerate it to the next level.

You'll have demonstrated success in sales leadership, ideally within technology or managed services, as well as a proven record of growing teams, exceeding revenue targets, and driving recurring service sales.

In addition, the below experience will be highly valued and set you up for success:

- Strategic sales planning and commercial acumen

- Strong stakeholder communication and negotiation skills

- Experience in CRM/reporting tools and data analysis

- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with internal teams

- Background in Go-To-Market strategy or new market penetration

- Adaptability in a fast-paced tech environment

You’re a natural leader who knows when to step back and coach, and when to roll up your sleeves to get results. You care about building a culture of accountability just as much as achieving targets, and you’re motivated by creating long-term impact.

Beyond your technical sales leadership experience, what will set you apart is your ability to bring fresh expertise and perspective. We’re looking for someone who can challenge our thinking, share knowledge, and introduce best practices that lift both the team and the business. If you thrive on contribution and take pride in driving sustainable growth, you’ll feel at home here.

About the Benefits

The successful candidate will be excited by the opportunity to earn their rewards through performance, with incentives that directly reflect team growth and business impact. In addition to your base salary and super you will enjoy:

- Performance-based rewards and incentives tied directly to your results

- A fully maintained company vehicle to support any regional travel

- Flexibility to work from one of our Queensland offices, with travel to connect with your team

- Paid Induction week in Bundaberg HQ to learn the ropes and set you up for success

- Autonomy and trust to lead the sales function strategically

- A values-led, team-oriented culture that supports long-term leadership development

Ready to Apply?

If you’re excited by the chance to lead a team, deliver real results, and be rewarded for your impact, this is your opportunity to step into a role where your expertise will shape the future of the business.

Bring your energy, your leadership, your ambition and be recognised for the growth you deliver. APPLY NOW to start your next chapter with Queensland Computers
