Overview

About R/GA. In our 40-year history, we’ve changed a lot—from a culture-defining film title studio (Superman, Alien, Ghostbusters) to an interactive advertising agency, and to an award-winning product and marketing agency with design, technology, communications, ventures and IP practices. We like change, and like to navigate our clients through it too.

Our approach to work is always human first. This unwavering focus helps us create meaningful and memorable experiences that live across digital platforms and often blur the line between the digital and real worlds. We believe disruptive thinking happens when you collide experts in design, technology and culture.

R/GA Australia is a new breed of creative innovation business that has combined the rapid make culture of an agency with the commercial design and strategic rigor of a consultancy. We have purpose built this model to help brands thrive in the new economy.

About the role

Our Senior Producers make things happen. They lead projects from start to finish, guiding teams and clients through the details while keeping sight of the bigger picture. They’re calm under pressure, strong communicators, and trusted partners who know when to challenge, when to listen, and when to push things forward.

Please note: this is not an Integrated Producer role. Please do not apply if your experience is primarily in broadcast, print, or creative services. This is a technical position that requires a strong background in digital production.

On any given day you might

- Lead mid to large-scale digital or creative projects from concept to delivery.
- Partner with clients to clarify goals, define requirements, and set the right approach.
- Scope, plan, and manage delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality stay on track.
- Bring cross-disciplinary teams together (UX, design, strategy, tech, and QA) to turn ideas into reality.
- Manage partners, vendors, and production budgets with transparency and accountability.
- Keep teams and clients aligned through clear documentation, regular updates, and structured communication.
- Lead meetings and presentations that move work forward, not just fill the calendar.
- Support new business opportunities with confident, well-thought delivery input.
- Advocate equally for client needs and R/GA’s creative integrity.

The ideal person brings

- A proven experience leading digital or technical projects from end-to-end, ideally across budgets from around A$100K–700K.
- Agency, consultancy or development background where you’ve balanced multiple clients and concurrent projects. (Note this is a hands on producer role, not studio management or TV, content, or print production).
- A strong client-facing skills and the ability to manage relationships built on trust, clarity, and delivery excellence.
- A track record of managing scopes, schedules, budgets, and team capacity with precision and care.
- Familiarity with different delivery models, including Agile and hybrid approaches, and the ability to flex between them.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams across UX, design, development, and QA.
- Comfort using modern delivery and collaboration tools (like JIRA, Confluence, Miro, Figma, or similar).
- Understanding of CMS platforms and digital ecosystems, and the confidence to learn new tech quickly.
- Experience managing ongoing programs or retainers, not just one-off builds.

Who you are

- A calm, pragmatic problem solver who thrives in fast-moving environments.
- A clear communicator who knows how to simplify complexity for clients and teams.
- Detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger objective.
- Flexible and collaborative, always looking for ways to make the work and the team stronger.
- Someone who does what they say they’ll do… and does it well.

You’ll stand out if you

- Have experience defining project approaches for complex, systematic builds.
- Have worked on projects that span creative, strategy, and technology delivery.
- Are comfortable facilitating agile ceremonies and producing the right level of documentation for clarity, not bureaucracy.
- Know how to build relationships that last, internally and externally.

Diversity

No matter who you are, where you’re from, who you love, what you follow in faith, how you identify, or what makes you unique - you’re welcome at R/GA. If you have any requests or requirements to support you through the hiring process, please let us know.
