Associate Producer – Insight, SBS

Insight is Australia/'s leading discussion show for ideas and powerful first-person stories, offering a unique perspective on news and current affairs. The role supports a show Producer to produce imaginative and compelling television and to tell remarkable Australian stories.

This role is classified as Level 2 under SBS Australia/'s current Enterprise Agreement (base salary range of $68,239 – $73,916) with additional overtime allowances.

Responsibilities

- Contact, schedule, and pre-interview guests for studio forums.
- Collaborate with the producer to prepare briefs and structure episodes.
- Suggest and research tape stories for inclusion in studio discussions.
- Assist the presenter with editorial and production matters alongside the producer.
- Support and work with online producers to develop and promote digital content.

- An understanding and experience with creating associated content for digital media
- An understanding of the SBS charter
