Overview

Boart Longyear has been a leading provider of drilling products and services to the global minerals industry for over 130 years. Based at a client mine site in WA, this position provides support to the operations in Drilling Services on all administrative tasks. On a 4 day on 3 day off roster, the successful candidate will drive the administrative logistics around new starters and current staff on mobilizations and administrative duties.

Responsibilities

- Travel coordination, including booking of site travel requirements for field employees and act as the main point of contact for all emergency travel for WA site personnel
- Site access, including booking medicals and NPCs, flights and accommodation
- General administrative tasks, such as expense claims and Amex/Visa reconciliation, raising and processing POs and invoices, filing and database maintenance
- Retrieve daily diary notes for the rigs and export data into the client’s Daily Activity Report (DAR) template
- Be the first point of contact for the majority of situations with crew and relay information to management as required
- Work closely with the client regarding all certificates, training, ATW, EHS, inductions, and compliance
- Monitor and manage Training Matrix to ensure everyone is competent
- Collaborate in the management of crews with supervisors

Qualifications

- FIFO experience desirable
- 3+ years administration experience
- Working with travel booking systems
- Understanding of working across multiple sites (desirable)
- Experience in high-paced, complex business environments
- High level of computer aptitude including MS Office suites
- Strong commitment to cost control/cost management
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
