BINGO industries are looking for aFinancial Accountantthis is an exciting opportunity working out of our Head Office inAuburn.

Please note this role is a 6 month FTE contract with the opportunity to convert to permanent.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Identify manual and repetitive tasks within the finance function and propose solutions for automation.
- Contribute to system enhancement projects, including documentation of processes and testing of changes.
- Assist in embedding more efficient workflows using tools such as Excel, Power Query, or other automation platforms.
- Ensure completion of month-end journals, reconciliations, and reporting tasks in line with the Group’s financial close timetable.
- Maintain accuracy of financial data through robust balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Support preparation of monthly management reports and ensure consistency with accounting standards and policies.
- Perform monthly intercompany reconciliations, identify mismatches, and liaise with counterparties to resolve variances.
- Perform intercompany invoicing and reconciliations.
- Maintain a clear audit trail and documentation for all intercompany transactions.
- Monitor daily bank balances and assist in cash flow forecasting.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and account maintenance.

What makes you a GOgetter:

- CPA or CA qualified
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting
- Hands-on experience with month-end close, including journal preparation, reconciliations, and reporting
- Exposure to treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting and bank reconciliations
- Proven ability to identify process inefficiencies and contribute to automation or system improvements
- Strong working knowledge of month-end close processes, including accruals, prepayments and general ledger reconciliations
- Understanding of treasury functions such as bank reconciliations and cashflow forecasting
- Awareness of automation tools and techniques
- Previous use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is essential
- Intermediate Microsoft Office 365 skills (Excel knowledge essential)
