Andrews Meat Industries is a leading force in the food production and distribution industry, known for quality, innovation, and commitment to excellence. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a high-performing Senior or Lead Management Accountant to join our finance leadership team and help drive strategic decision-making and operational excellence across the business.

About the role:

As a Senior / Lead Management Accountant, you/'ll play a pivotal role in leading financial planning, analysis, and reporting across multiple business units. Working closely with the Financial Controller and senior leadership, you/'ll provide the insight and leadership that drive real business performance.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

- Lead consolidated reporting and analysis across divisions

- Develop and maintain KPIs, executive dashboards, and cost models

- Provide data-driven insights for operational improvement and strategic decision-making

- Build and maintain detailed cash flow models and scenario analyses

- Oversee annual budgets and regular forecasting cycles

- Support departments with budget management and cost control

- Represent finance in strategy and project steering groups

- Coordinate and oversee daily accounting functions: general ledger, bank reconciliations, month-end close, and compliance activities

- Act as a senior point of contact for complex financial issues

- Champion finance system upgrades and ERP/reporting tool implementation

- Drive automation and process improvement initiatives

- Ensure statutory and internal compliance

- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

- Extract, analyse, and interpret complex data to inform business decisions

- Partner with operational leaders to deliver strategic data solutions

About you

- Professional qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent)

- Extensive experience in management reporting and commercial analysis

- Minimum of 3-5 years of management accounting experience required

- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with BI tools and ERP systems (SAP, Sage, etc.)

- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills

- Proven track record of process automation and driving finance transformation

- Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

- Australian work authorisation required at time of application
