Project Administrator – $40ph | Melbourne CBD | Hybrid role supporting finance

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Administrator to join our cleint's team in Melbourne's CBD. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume, process-driven environment and enjoys working with data, systems and multiple stakeholders. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values accuracy, efficiency and continuous improvement. This role also offers the opportunity to develop your skills, work on meaningful projects and potentially extend your career beyond the initial contract.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Process and validate work orders (via Maximo and Novus)
- Reconcile subcontractor statements and manage invoice status
- Address invoice queries and support finance/commercial teams
- Meet KPI targets with a focus on accurate 60-day invoicing
- Analyse and reconcile data for reporting and compliance
- Support process improvements and assist in documenting procedures
- Coordinate and resolve queries with subcontractors and field staff
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP experience (Maximo, Novus, SAP preferred)
- Previous experience in telecoms, finance or high-volume ticket-of-works environments
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Unrestrlcted AUS Working Rights (Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident)
