**The Organisation**
Our client is a rapidly expanding environmental scale up organisation, going through a lengthy period of expansion, investment, and growth. This organisation is quickly being renowned for playing a vital role in sustainability for our communities, employing a dedicated and growing team of professionals based in Inner Brisbane.

The Finance Officer will sit within the Shared Services function of Finance working in a wider Accounts Receivable/Payable function. The Finance Officer will play a critical role as the business roles out a new purchase order system. The organisation will rely on your ability to help test the upgraded system and ensure absolute accuracy in day-day AP/AR functions.

Key duties will include:

- Receipting payments
- Allocation of payments
- Project work - new purchase order system
- Coding of invoices, raising purchase orders
- Account reconciliations - credit card, and bank
- Investigating and resolving queries
- Stakeholder management and relationship building (receivables)
- Assistance with generating invoices and account statements
- Strong Excel skills preferred for general reporting tasks
