Claremont Quarter is Perth's premier retail destination, with high streets, Bayview Terrace and St Quentin Avenue seamlessly flowing into two levels of open malls where a cosmopolitan village atmosphere is created. It covers 30,000sqm and is located in one of Perth's most affluent suburbs, drawing shoppers from across the metropolitan area.

Your role as Property Manager is to effectively lead the asset team with a commitment to realising the potential of Claremont Quarter by delivering on the agreed strategy, maximising asset performance by driving sustainable value and growth, developing a team of extraordinary Hawaiian people and building profound partnerships with our tenants and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

- Effectively lead, manage, collaborate and guide the asset team including Operations, Tenancy Delivery, Projects, and Finance to deliver the asset strategy.
- Direct people management of Senior Operations Manager, Retail Manager, and indirect line reporting of the Property Accountant including resourcing, management of performance & behaviour and training & development.
- Proactive Relationship Management - Hawaiian team (broader) & Partners including Tenants, Customers, Residential Owners (Strata), Council & Contractors to achieve organisational compliance and consistency.
- Ownership of the development, delivery, and ongoing review of the asset strategy including delivery of financial targets, leasing deliverables and the capital investment program.
- Ownership of Business Reporting - Board, Quarterly & Monthly JV Management Report.
- Oversee accurate and timely administration obligations including critical dates and cashflow management for key leasing, CAPEX, OPEX, tenancy coordination and marketing activities.

Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years' experience in relevant property management, retail, and financial management.
- Current REBA Registered Sales Representative or Property Manager licence.
- Experience in the interpretation of retail leases.
- Knowledge and understanding of the retail industry, including occupancy costs, gross profits, mark-ups, leasing, FM, marketing, and turnover sales reporting requirements.
- Working knowledge of the Commercial Tenancy (Retail Shops) Agreements Act.

Skills and Attributes

- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment and resolve issues independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Well-developed planning and organisation skills including the ability to effectively prioritise and manage multiple deadlines whilst delivering accurate and quality work.
- Related experience in Financial Accounting particularly systems and reporting processes.
- Highly proficient in use of computers and ability to work with internal Hawaiian systems once trained.
