News Corp Australia paper NT News is on the market for a new political reporter, to be based in Darwin.
The reporter will produce politics and general news stories for the NT News’ paper edition and digital channels. They will also be on the move for leads to stories that have not yet reached mainstream attention and interact with readers.
Responsibilities:
1. Produce politics and general news stories for paper and digital channels.
2. Seek leads for untold stories.
3. Engage with readers.
Qualifications:
1. Over three years of journalism experience, preferably covering the politics beat.
2. Ability to conduct detailed interviews.
3. Team player with sound analysis and judgment.
4. Ability to submit articles on time.
