Overview

Join our Compliance Governance and Frameworks team and take on a diverse role where you will help ensure the Compliance Division has appropriate governance in place to effectively support regulatory compliance and good risk outcomes for Macquarie.

This is a max-term contract for 12 months.

Responsibilities

You will help drive governance over and monitor Compliance processes and procedures and to prepare reporting on Compliance risks and operational effectiveness for senior management. The role requires proficiency in analysing and interpreting data to support compliance risk management. You will contribute to the development and review of Macquarie-wide policies and business-specific standards and procedures, ensuring they remain fit for purpose in the context of our internal and external risk and reflect Macquarie’s regulatory requirements.

In addition, you will contribute to the uplift and effective use of Macquarie’s governance, risk management, and compliance platform and support the development of enhanced data governance and analysis across the Compliance division. You will join a high performing team and will be required to work directly with stakeholders across Compliance and the Risk Management Group, and will gain global exposure to Macquarie’s Operating and Central Support Groups

Qualifications

- Experience gained from working at a financial services organisation or a financial services regulator is advantageous.
- Strong interest in regulation and frameworks applicable to financial services organisations
- Strong data and reporting skills
- Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail
- Proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite
- Comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels.
