Job Description

Ecosaver Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced ICT Business Analyst to join our innovative and sustainability-driven team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support our mission of creating a greener future.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, developing functional specifications, and collaborating with stakeholders and developers to implement technology-driven solutions. This role requires a proactive professional who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical outcomes while ensuring the integrity and quality of system implementations.

Key Responsibilities

- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to gather, validate, and document detailed business and system requirements.

- Mapping, evaluating, and refining existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend process or system enhancements.

- Collaborating with project teams to develop effective project plans, resource estimates, and timelines using recognised project management methodologies.

- Translating business needs into functional and technical specifications for development teams.

- Supporting system testing, deployment, and user acceptance processes to ensure solutions meet business expectations.

- Preparing comprehensive documentation, including user guides, training materials, and workflow diagrams.

- Conducting user training sessions and providing ongoing support to ensure smooth system adoption.

- Acting as a trusted advisor to the business, providing insights that guide technology-related decision-making.

- Working with developers and technical staff to continuously improve application functionality and system performance.

Qualifications and Skills

- A formal qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline (minimum Bachelor level or equivalent).

- At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.

- Experience in business process modelling, requirements documentation, and system specification development.

- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with various stakeholders effectively.
