About the role:

At Toby's Estate, we know that great coffee is personal, and so are the relationships we build with our customers. As our Territory Manager, you'll be the frontline representation of Toby’s Estate, driving brand impact and fostering meaningful connections in Sydney. We have TMs across the state so we may be flex on territory this role takes hold of, with occasional visits to regional NSW. You’ll manage a portfolio of accounts while actively identifying and securing new business opportunities. Whether on the road, at industry events, or engaging with café owners, you’ll play a key role in growing our brand presence. Success comes from building trust, providing value, and supporting small business owners to thrive. Our cafe/site/office is based in Chippendale; however this role is currently managing Northern NSW. We do have some flex to navigate a change in territory for the preferred candidate and will be discussed through the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

- Represent Toby’s Estate as the frontline contact, driving brand impact and fostering connections with customers in Sydney (with potential regional NSW coverage).
- Manage a portfolio of accounts and actively identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Travel as needed to meet customers, attend industry events, and engage with café owners.
- Build trust and provide value to small business owners to help them thrive and grow our brand presence.
- Collaborate with the team, adapt to territory changes, and communicate insights to support growth.

About you

About you:

At Toby’s, it’s more than just selling coffee; it’s about building partnerships. Our ideal candidate is driven, results-focused, and thrives in a competitive market. While proven sales experience is highly desirable, we’re equally open to candidates from hospitality or other industries who bring a strong business development mindset, a go-getter attitude, and natural charisma. Coffee knowledge can be taught, but resilience, energy, and a passion for growth are essential.

Qualifications

- Proven sales experience is highly desirable; however candidates from hospitality or other industries with a strong business development mindset are welcome.
- Ability to navigate market challenges, discuss pricing confidently, and build long-term customer relationships.
- Autonomous work style with the ability to collaborate within a high-energy team.
- Interest in coffee with willingness to learn; product knowledge can be taught.
- Flexibility to accommodate territory changes and travel as required.
