We are partnered with this State Government organisation in Brisbane CBD to recruit a Senior Investment Officer for a six-month fixed-term contract.
Your new role
As the Senior Investment Officer, you will be responsible for delivering investment products that support impact investing. In this temporary role, you will:


Assist the Director in shaping and executing a strategic roadmap for impact investing, with a strong emphasis on achieving measurable outcomes for marginalised Queenslanders.


Play a key role in coordinating and contributing to the development and evaluation of impact investment proposals, ensuring alignment with the Queensland Government's broader social impact objectives.


Provide strategic policy and implementation advice to senior decision makers to support the development and delivery of impact investing initiatives.


Build and nurture effective partnerships across government and non-government sectors to foster collaboration, identify shared opportunities, and advance social impact goals.


Support the Director in high-level negotiations with internal and external stakeholders to attract foundation and institutional investment aligned with the government's social impact agenda.


What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this position, you should have:


Strong interpersonal skills and experience engaging stakeholders across various levels.


A solid understanding of commercial and investment principles, particularly within a public sector assessment framework.


Proven ability to research and interpret social impact investment data, including emerging trends in the field.


Demonstrated experience in analysing and assessing social impact investment proposals.


A commitment to upholding high standards of governance, probity, and confidentiality.


A relevant qualification in a business-related discipline would be highly regarded.
