About the role

We currently have  vacancy for an experienced Concrete Tester to join our team in Brisbane on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting essential concrete testing services to ensure the quality and safety of construction projects. With a focus on regulatory compliance and project success, this position is a key part of our growing business.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Performing a range of concrete testing procedures, including sampling, slump testing, compressive strength testing
  • Accurately documenting test results and maintaining detailed records
  • Collaborating with construction teams to address any quality issues and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with relevant Australian standards and regulations
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to enhance testing processes and procedures
  • Maintaining testing equipment and arranging for calibration as required

About You

We encourage those with a range of concrete testing experience to apply, this includes entry level as well. Along with your strong work ethic and previous experience in a similar role you'll have/be:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field
  • Full Australian working rights or permanent residency is essential
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in concrete testing or a similar quality assurance role
  • Valid driver's license and own Ute with tray back for equipment - highly regarded
  • Strong understanding of concrete testing procedures and industry standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in record-keeping
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in order to accurately report test results clearly to project managers is preferred (training will be provided)
  • Experienced in the use of concrete testing equipment and relevant software
  • Construction White card
