About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to oversee civil works across substation and renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership on large-scale electrical infrastructure projects and the ability to deliver safely, on time, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise all civil site activities: excavation, formwork, conduit installation, concrete works, and foundations.
  • Manage subcontractors and crews to meet project targets.
  • Ensure compliance with QA, HSE, and client specifications (Transgrid, Powerlink, AusNet, etc.).
  • Interpret drawings, ITPs, and specifications for civil and electrical interface works.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and HV supervisors for seamless delivery.
  • Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks, and daily reporting.
  • Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in civil supervision within HV substation or industrial construction.
  • Strong understanding of earthing, trenching, and foundation systems.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to interpret design drawings and QA documentation.
  • White Card, current driver's licence, and relevant civil trade/engineering qualifications.
  • Advantageous: experience under Transgrid/Powerlink standards.
