Located in the heart of Dunsborough, we are looking to strengthen our kitchen team with a dedicated full-time Chef to help us continue delivering outstanding food and service.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chef who is passionate about Indian cuisine and committed to delivering high standards in a busy restaurant environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the head chef and kitchen team, helping to prepare and cook a variety of traditional Indian dishes from our menu, manage food preparation and presentation, maintain high hygiene and safety standards, and support kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cook and present menu items including breads, mains (vegetarian, vegan, seafood, meat), and accompaniments in line with Oh Delhi’s quality and style.
Participate in menu development, recipe updating and daily specials.
Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and smoothly during service hours (typically evenings).
Maintain food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness according to regulations and our standards.
Monitor stock, assist with ordering and manage waste effectively.
Support team members, help train junior staff and foster a positive, collaborative kitchen culture.
Work in compliance with WA health & safety regulations and restaurant policies.
Selection Criteria & Skills

Minimum 1-2 years’ full-time experience as a Chef in a similar role (Indian cuisine preferred).
Strong understanding of Indian cooking techniques, spice profiles, breads (naans, rotis) and main dishes.
Ability to consistently produce high-quality dishes under pressure and during busy service.
Excellent time-management, organisational skills and ability to multitask.
Good communication skills and ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
Relevant food handling/hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain).
