Position Overview
As the Team Leader – Civil Maintenance, you’ll lead a dedicated crew in delivering both planned and reactive maintenance works. Your leadership will shape a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. You’ll ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures while driving high standards in customer service and operational delivery.

Responsibilities
- Lead a skilled team in maintaining and improving the infrastructure of the Sutherland Shire.
- Champion innovation and drive continuous improvement in civil maintenance practices.
- Promote a safe, efficient work environment while delivering outstanding customer service.
- Grow your leadership career within a supportive and forward‑thinking organisation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Plan and manage workloads effectively and use mobile technology and IT systems to support productivity.
Candidate Profile
- Certificate III in Civil Construction (or equivalent).
- Demonstrated experience leading a civil works team or significant leadership experience in a similar field.
- Valid Class C Driver’s Licence and WHS Induction Card (Whitecard).
- Proven ability to plan and manage workloads effectively.
- Competent in using mobile technology and IT systems.
- Strong communication skills with a customer‑focused approach.
- Certificate IV in Civil Construction (preferred).
- First Aid Certificate.
- Experience using survey instruments.
Hours of Work
Full‑time permanent position – 38 hours per week with a 9‑day fortnight.
