The Opportunity

We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic individuals with a strong customer focus to fill the role of a Theatre Assistant. As a Theatre Assistant, you will be working in the theatre department with responsibilities including:

- Working with and assisting clinical staff

- Setting up operating theatre and other specialty stock for theatre cases for the coming days theatre lists

- Ensuring theatres are set up for surgical procedures and equipment has been checked

Skills and Experience

An interest in patient care is essential to succeed in this role. You will have excellent communication skills and a willingness to develop a working knowledge of hospital procedures. You will be a motivated, positive individual and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.

- Certificate III or Certificate IV Level in related field or AIN Certificate

- Preferable experience as a Theatre Assistant or similar role

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and independently

- Excellent patient and customer service focus

- Be available for a range of shifts
