Title: Team Leader, Maintenance,Permanent - Full-time Role, 38hours per week

Salary Range: $74312.8 to $86363.83 per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)

The Construction and Maintenance Business Unit is responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive range of construction and maintenance services across the organisation. The Unit is committed to excellence in service delivery, ensuring timely and accurate advice while adhering to industry best practices. It also prioritises the development of innovative, cost-effective, and environmentally sustainable solutions to complex operational challenges.

The Construction and Maintenance Business Unit undertakes works and services across a diverse portfolio of assets, including, but not limited to:
• Roads infrastructure
• Footpaths
• Kerb and Gutter
• Stormwater Drainage
• Retaining Structures
• Netted Tidal Swimming Enclosures
• Traffic Management Facilities
• Public Street Signage

There are at least 3 vacant positions, and these roles will work out of one of Councils Depots located at Balgowlah, Cromer and Warriewood.

Our opportunity:
The key focus areas of this role include:
1) Coordinate small civil maintenance crews undertaking work on Council Civil Infrastructure Assets including footpaths, roads, drainage and associated infrastructure.
2) Utilise plant, labour and materials to successfully deliver maintenance works in accordance with council standards and approved budgets.
3) Ensure civil maintenance crews are adhering to appropriate WHS controls and procedures when undertaking works.
4) Ensure related work data and information is entered successfully into Council systems for record keeping

We’re looking for skilled and motivated Team Leaders to join our construction and maintenance teams. You’ll bring hands-on field experience and strong leadership skills to a team passionate about making a difference to our community.
