About the Role
As the Customer Service Officer, you will play an important role in facilitating front desk reception operations and providing administrative support working under the direction of the Manager Education and Employment Pathways.
You’ll be responsible for welcoming visitors, managing telephone and in-person enquiries, and handling both incoming and outgoing correspondence and deliveries to ensure efficient administrative processes. In addition to reception duties, this role involves liaising professionally with a wide range of stakeholders such as NLC constituents, contractors, and visitors. The successful candidate will uphold NLC policies and procedures, maintain high standards of service, and carry out any additional tasks aligned with their role and skill set to support the broader team.

In addition, you will have
- Practical experience in a front desk, administration, office environment or an equivalent combination of training/education and experience.
- Good attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to work with a range of computer software products, in particular Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Punctuality and have excellent attendance to work commitments.
- Have high level cross-cultural, interpersonal and verbal communication skills with an ability to effectively liaise, engage and coordinate across an organisation.

We offer
- A base salary of $64,542 per annum plus 15% superannuation
- Salary sacrificing up to $15,900 + Meal Entertainment and Holiday Accommodation benefits up to $2,650 per year.
- Other benefits under our Enterprise Agreement include: District allowance of up to $4,797 per annum for individuals with dependents and $2,630 without dependents. 5 weeks annual leave, leaving loading, 18 days personal leave; Paid Christmas close down. Annual airfare with a net (in hand) value of $3,177 after 12 months of service.
