Synergie Australia is seeking a Customer Service Officer for our Waste Management client located locally in Darwin, NT.

The important parts:

  • Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
  • $35.80 per hour
  • 12-month contract

What you will be required to do:

  • Answer and direct incoming calls in a timely and professional manner
  • Respond to customer enquiries and complaints, providing effective solutions
  • Book and schedule recurring services, including grease trap servicing
  • Advise customers on compliance matters (e.g., OHS and sewerage regulations)
  • Monitor and respond to shared email inboxes
  • Manage and resolve disputes with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Update customer service records with new purchase orders, access details, and instructions

To be successful in the role you will:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Previous experience in a customer service or contact centre environment (highly desirable)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • A positive, proactive approach with the ability to work independently and in a team
  • Have working rights in Australia
  • Have access to reliable transport and ability to get to work
