About the Role

The Business Services Officer reports to and supports the Team Leader - Business Services and Procurement and works closely with the Business Services Team to develop and maintain close working relationships with management and staff within the EPA and external service providers.

The successful applicant will undertake effective business support, which may include: monitoring emails, collating information, ordering and maintaining corporate stock levels, facilities management, fleet management and general ad hoc business functions for EPA.

Provide efficient and accurate word processing within a Windows environment with Microsoft applications (e.g. Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel) and finance applications including Purchase Orders and Invoicing. Model and uphold the ethical behaviour and professional standards as contained in the Public Sector Act 2009 and the Code of Ethics for the South Australian Public Sector.

The Environment Protection Authority (EPA) is South Australia’s independent environment protection regulator. The organisation works to protect, restore and improve the environment through the risk-based regulation of pollution, waste, noise and radiation. The EPA works closely with industry, the community and government to protect the unique natural environment while supporting economic growth and improving wellbeing. The EPA is responsible for the administration of the Environment Protection Act 1993 (EP Act) and the Radiation Protection and Control Act 2021 (RPC Act) and also exercises responsibilities under other South Australian planning and environmental legislation.

Remuneration

ASO2 ($58, 709 - $63,154 per annum) + 12% super added to your choice of super fund.

Contract

1x Long-Term Contract and Full Time (37.5 hours per week).
