As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, to assist in organising collections, pick-ups, quotes and to offer support for freight enquiries via phone and email.
Northline currently have permanent positions available, based around a Monday to Friday working week. This position also requires flexibility with shift times between the hours of 7.30am and 6.00pm.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone with previous customer service experience in areas such as call centres, hospitality and retail who is looking for an opportunity to grow and develop their career.
Responsibilities:
- Taking inbound customer calls.
- Updating customers and teammates on freight queries via in and outbound calls.
- Assist with customer queries by contacting the appropriate team.
- Respond to email enquires as allocated.
- Communicate delays to customers in a prompt and professional manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all relevant parties.
About You:
- Previous experience in a call centre/customer care environment is highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Able to quickly build rapport with customers and teammates, both locally and interstate.
- Intermediate skills in data entry with accurate typing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, prioritise and resolve problems in a timely manner.
