Western Urology is a specialist medical practice providing advanced urological care across Melbourne.
We are seeking a Business Manager to oversee and optimise the operational, financial, and administrative performance of a growing multi-site clinical network. This role encompasses both office management and business operations, requiring strategic oversight across systems, compliance, workflow integration, and stakeholder coordination to ensure seamless service delivery and long-term business sustainability.
Position Details
Position Title: Business Manager (Office & Healthcare Operations)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Maribyrnong, VIC (travel to partner clinics and affiliated facilities required)
Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience
Key Responsibilities
Lead the operational and administrative functions of the practice, ensuring efficient day-to-day delivery of clinical and business services
Oversee compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality-assurance protocols
Manage office systems, appointment workflows, patient billing, recalls, and data integrity
Develop and implement frameworks for performance tracking, reporting, and financial analysis
Support strategic initiatives including business development, service diversification, and stakeholder engagement
Liaise with internal and external partners to strengthen referral pathways and optimise patient flow
Supervise and mentor administrative staff, ensuring adherence to established processes and professional standards
Assist with governance, documentation, and policy updates in line with best practice
Skills & Experience
Proven background in office, operations, or business management (healthcare, specialist or dental environment highly regarded)
Strong understanding of clinical operations, patient coordination, and referral-management systems
Demonstrated ability to analyse practice performance, implement system improvements, and streamline workflows
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office and practice-management software
Ability to work autonomously with strong attention to compliance, structure, and accuracy
