Job Summary

Reporting to the CFO, The FP&A Lead will play a critical part in delivering financial insights, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring strong financial discipline across our multi-location operations.

The FP&A Lead will be responsible for financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong analytical skills, exceptional business acumen, and the ability to partner with leadership across the company.

Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm in office

Required Skills/Abilities

- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with advanced Excel and proficiency in financial planning tools

- Excellent understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow dynamics.

- Proven ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.

- Strong communication and presentation skills; able to partner effectively with executives and location managers.

- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA/CPA/CFA preferred.

- 4–7 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or consulting, ideally in a multi-location retail, consumer, or home improvement business.

Duties/Responsibilities

Financial Forecasting & Budgeting

- Lead development of annual budgets and rolling forecasts across all locations and business units.

- Collaborate with business leaders to align financial targets with operational goals.

Reporting & Analysis

- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages with analysis of revenue, margins, expenses, and cash flow.

- Deliver variance analysis and identify key drivers of performance vs. plan, forecast, and prior year.

- Track and analyze KPIs relevant to retail/home improvement operations.

Business Partnership

- Partner with location managers and department heads to provide financial insights that improve operational performance.

- Support leadership with ad-hoc analysis on strategic initiatives.

Modeling & Decision Support

- Build and maintain financial models.

- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve profitability, efficiency, and growth.
