Additionally, you will likely be involved in, although not limited to the following activities:

  • Preparation of monthly internal management reports, including analysis of key variances to forecast, budget, and prior year across income and expenses.
  • Uploading and reconciliation of external entity trial balances each month for General Commercial.
  • Maintain financial reporting templates, P&L mapping, and external partner trial balances.
  • Partner with various Agencies and support Heads to develop bottom-up quarterly reforecasts and the annual budget.
  • Uploading and reconciling General Commercial quarterly forecasts and annual budgets in Adaptive Insights.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Agency Heads and internal Finance teams to support business planning.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and insights to the Group Head of FP&A and other business stakeholders.
  • Support Half Year and Year End reporting processes, including preparation of content for the AUB Group Investor Presentation.

Ideally, we would be looking for someone who has a qualification in finance or related field with experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting. Exposure to the general insurance industry or financial services sector would be highly advantageous, although not essential.

Some of the other areas we are looking for experience in as follows:

  • CA/CPA qualified or currently working towards qualification.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure with conflicting priorities.
  • Proficient interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of staff and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level) and experience with ERP systems and general ledger management.
  • Hands-on experience with financial reporting and planning tools (e.g. Adaptive Insights or similar platforms).

In return, we offer great benefits, as well as a competitive salary and a great culture and environment.

Any offer of employment is dependent upon the satisfactory completion of background checks by AUB Group or by an external third-party on our behalf.

AUB Group welcomes all people regardless of ethnicity, faith, sexual orientation, and gender identity, and we are dedicated to providing a workplace environment that supports and values diversity, inclusion and equality.
