About the opportunity Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Financial Accountant will play a key role in ensuring NCIG’s financial integrity and compliance while driving improvements in financial systems, reporting, and processes. This is an exciting time to join as you’ll help shape how the role evolves and have the opportunity to grow alongside the business. Key responsibilities - Managing tax, statutory and regulatory compliance, including preparation of financial statements, BAS, FBT and other submissions. - Supporting the budgeting, forecasting and business planning processes. - Maintaining robust financial controls, reconciliations and reporting. - Developing and improving NCIG’s financial and information systems (including Power BI) to enhance reporting and decision-making. - Partnering across departments to provide accurate and insightful financial analysis. About you You’re a qualified finance professional who enjoys improving systems, streamlining processes, and collaborating across teams to deliver meaningful insights. You’re motivated by accuracy, integrity and continuous improvement. You’ll bring - Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business or related field. - CA or CPA qualification. - 5+ years’ experience in financial and statutory accounting, ideally with exposure to complex or asset-intensive industries. - Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and advanced Excel capability. - A proactive, improvement-focused mindset with the ability to influence and communicate effectively across all levels of an organisation.
