Overview

We're partnering with a leading financial services institution based in Sydney who are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced architect to contribute to the design and delivery of large-scale technology solutions in a critical and highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

- Lead the design and delivery of infrastructure solutions across a complex, enterprise-scale environment.
- Provide architectural leadership, ensuring alignment with business and technology strategy.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners.
- Ensure solutions meet regulatory, security, and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to architecture governance, frameworks, and standards.

Qualifications

- Strong background in on-premises infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, data centres).
- Proven experience in solution or enterprise architecture within large, complex environments.
- Solid understanding of security, compliance, and risk frameworks - exposure to ISO or COBIT is highly desirable.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
- Financial services or other highly regulated industry experience is a plus.
