About the role
Fantastic permanent opportunity for a motivated Senior SAP Technical Analyst to join the SunRice Group in Melbourne, Sydney or Leeton. As a key member of our Information Technology team, you will deliver high-quality technical SAP solutions aligned with SunRice’s business objectives. This will involve leading the design, development, and support of SAP applications across the enterprise landscape. You will apply deep expertise in ABAP development, SAP Fiori/UI5, and integration technologies, and collaborate with functional teams, architects, and external partners to ensure scalable and secure SAP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, support and maintain custom SAP applications using ABAP and Fiori/UI5.
- Lead technical solutioning for SAP integration projects using SAP Integration Suite and other integration technologies.
- Collaborate with functional analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and support system testing and deployment activities.
- Ensure SAP developments follow best practices, performance standards, and security guidelines.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP-related issues across modules (e.g., S/4HANA, Fiori apps).
- Participate in SAP upgrade and migration projects.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and support procedures.
About You
You bring strong SAP expertise and a sharp IT solutions mindset. Backed by analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, you are adaptable to evolving technologies and business needs with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Proven experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development, CDS views and OData services.
- Hands-on experience with SAP integration tools (CPI/Integration Suite, IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs).
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with SAP BTP and cloud-based integration is a plus.
- Understanding of SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, HR and PP is advantageous.
