Tamworth, Australia ClearCompany Full time

Overview

Innovation. Building. Flexibility.

This role requires detailed experience with MS Fabric and Azure as a Senior Data Engineer. If you have this experience, you could join Australia’s leading data consulting company to help lead the design and implementation of advanced data pipelines and analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

Every day, you will engage directly with clients and lead project delivery, working alongside architects and cross-functional teams to implement innovative data engineering solutions.

You will lead client engagements on innovative data pipeline and warehousing projects, working alongside a skilled and supportive team in a dynamic consulting environment.

You will bring a consulting mindset and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable outcomes.

Your role ensures the seamless integration of data sources and the delivery of high-quality, reliable data infrastructure that supports enterprise analytics and reporting across multiple platforms.

The team consists of experienced Data Engineers, Architects, and Consultants who collaborate closely to build scalable, enterprise-grade data platforms.

Qualifications

- 5 years + of experience as a Data Engineer, ideally with hands-on expertise in building and managing data pipelines and data warehousing solutions.

- Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric (1 - 2 years of implementing and using Fabric).

- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, including services like Synapse, Dataflow, and Power BI.

- SQL skills are essential; familiarity with data modeling and ETL/ELT processes is expected. Experience with tools like dbt is a plus but not mandatory.

- Strong communication skills are critical. You will need to translate complex technical concepts for clients and stakeholders, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and ensure smooth project delivery.

Engagement, Location and Benefits

It’s a hybrid role based in Sydney's CBD with easy access to public transport, fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture. The company values flexibility and supports diversity, including women in technology, and promotes an inclusive workforce.

This is a full-time contract position offering a competitive day rate with potential to go permanent for the right person and comes with a comprehensive benefits package.

If you have full working rights or appropriate visas to work in Australia and are ticking the requirements, this role may be suitable.
