The Position

As a Configuration Administrator (Level 1), you will play a central role in supporting the Configuration Management team by providing general administration and operational assistance. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining configuration-related documentation and records, along with providing guidance and support of change management processes to key internal stakeholders including engineers, technicians, project managers, and purchasing and quality teams.

We are seeking a fastidious, organised and charismatic individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. You will have a strong attention to detail with the ability to effectively manage time and resources, and the desire to build the skills, knowledge and internal networks that contribute towards achieving the goals of both the configuration management team and the organisation as a whole.

Key responsibilities

- Assemble, collate, distribute and maintain records of product design documentation.

- Review and input data, and maintain relevant information within the CEA Configuration system.

- Record the flow of both internal and external configuration management documentation.

- Provide administration assistance and documentation support in relation to configuration management support to other CEA Technologies departments.

- Perform any other reasonable requests as required.

About You

- A proven ability to build and maintain professional and productive working relationships with internal stakeholders that have a technical background.

- Must possess a strong eye for detail, and the ability to develop solid problem solving skills.

- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel.

- A high level of interpersonal and teamwork skills.

- Self-motivated to achieve personal and team goals.

- The ability to work proactively with limited supervision.

- While a specific formal qualification is not required, professional experience in one of the following areas is considered desirable:

- Inventory or Records Management

- Project Management

- Systems Engineering and Analysis

- Technical Production and Assembly

Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance – Negative Vetting 1. The successful candidate MUST be able to obtain clearance prior to commencement.
