We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Environmental Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading our environmental initiatives, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and driving innovative solutions to minimize our ecological footprint.

Responsibilities

1. Manage the full corporate GHG inventory (Scopes 1, 2, and 3), including data collection, validation, and calculation in compliance with GHG Protocol standards.
2. Analyze emissions data to identify trends, reduction opportunities, and support the development of climate strategy and science-based targets (SBTi).
3. Ensure compliance with evolving global GHG reporting regulations and manage participation in voluntary programs like carbon markets or RECs.
4. Continuously improve GHG accounting processes through automation, software implementation, and procedure documentation.
5. Serve as the expert for mass balance certification schemes (e.g., ISCC, RSB), managing audits and compliance.
6. Develop and maintain robust data management systems to ensure accuracy and audit readiness.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in environmental management, compliance, or sustainability.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards (e.g., EPA regulations, ISO 14001).
- Proven experience in conducting environmental assessments and audits.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex environmental data.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to lead teams effectively.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
- Passion for environmental sustainability and a commitment to making a positive impact on the environment.
