In this role, you will deliver high-quality anaesthetic services across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include participation in the on-call roster, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives. You will also contribute to the teaching and supervision of junior medical staff while supporting research and educational activities.

As a Staff Specialist or Senior Staff Specialist, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, engage in clinical audits, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures. The role also offers opportunities to work with external healthcare providers, ensuring high standards of care across the Bundaberg region.

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

- Fellowship with the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) or equivalent qualification enrolled in the ANZCA Specialist pathway leading to attainment of FANZCA

- Registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

- Extensive experience in clinical anaesthesia, perioperative medicine, and pain management
