Every day, our team runs programs that include sport, creative arts, cooking, and more—working closely with children, families, and schools to support development in a healthy, inclusive environment.

We have an oportunity for an experienced Coordinator to lead our new service at Cromer opening in early Febuarary 2026.

You will join our team on Sydney Northern Beaches with our current sites being located at Forestville and Dee Why in supporting the local community.

Oportunity to complete your induction and training at one of the other Y sites on the Northern Beaches for 19th January 2026

We seek a committed Coordinator to help inspire children at our Cromer OSHC services. About your new role

- You will design and deliver a safe, effective, and fun OSHC service following Y values

- You will oversee a calendar of inclusive, exciting, and engaging program following My Time Our Place Volume II principals

- You will become a trusted leader in the community, working closely with Y NSW families, schools and charity partners to turn the Y’s global mission into local action

- You will manage a dynamic team of Educators, helping everyone's individual growth

- You will be able to follow our development pathway to learn new skills and build your career

About you

- Strong written and verbal communication skills to support relationships within the team, with the families and school.

- Proficient in the use of technology and systems, such as Teams, Outlook and Outlook Calendar, Microsoft Office, and internal management platforms

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Experience of and commitment to be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of children

- Experience leading others

- Ability to critically reflect to develop innovative learning every day

- Availability to supervise Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care hours

- Ability to work in a team seamlessly.

Qualifications

- A Diploma in Children's Services, or equivalent (Desired)

- Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk CHCPRT025 OR CHCPRT001 (Mandatory)

- Cert III , Diploma or equivalent in childcare (Desired)

- Valid NSW Working with Children Check

- HLTAID012 - Current First Aid and CPR(Mandatory)

- Police Check (paid for by the Y)
