ConsultANZ is looking for an experienced Senior Programmer/Planner to join a leading top tier civil engineering and infrastructure company in supporting multiple large-scale projects across the Water, Defence, and Transportation sectors.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.

- Support project teams by integrating design, construction, and commissioning activities across multiple disciplines.

- Coordinate with Project Managers and Engineers to ensure alignment between schedule, cost, and resource data.

- Produce cost-loaded and resource-loaded programs and forecasts, particularly for Defence-related projects.

- Track and report on schedule performance, earned value, and budget forecasting.

- Identify schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project delivery targets.

- Support planning and reporting requirements for senior management and client progress reviews.

- Ensure consistency and accuracy of data across all active project schedules.

- Provide input into continuous improvement of project planning systems and processes.

About You

- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Planning.

- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6; experience in developing cost and resource-loaded programs essential.

- Minimum 8+ years’ experience in project planning and scheduling within major infrastructure projects.

- Previously demonstrated experience in successfully delivering projects.

- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Practical and analytical mindset, with a keen eye for detail and proactive problem-solving ability.
