(Senior) Accountant | Large Family Agribusiness - Eastern Suburbs
Full-time, In-Office | $120k-$150k + Super (depending on experience)
Join one of Australia/'s largest family-owned agribusinesses, operating across broadacre farming, livestock, and associated investments. With a highly experienced executive team and a focus on growth and system transformation, this is a hands-on, high-visibility role for a motivated (Senior) Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage month-end reporting, journals, reconciliations, and analysis for entity and group levels.
- Prepare statutory returns including BAS, GST, FBT, Payroll Tax, and Superannuation.
- Reconcile key accounts including inter-entity loans, fixed assets, and balance sheets.
- Assist with cash flow, budgeting, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Oversee AP/AR processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders.

About You
- CA/CPA qualified.
- Tier 1 or Tier 2 accounting firm experience, ideally Big 4, with strong statutory and compliance focus.
- Hands-on experience across financial and management accounting.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with Xero and ApprovalMax.
- Experience in agriculture, food & beverage, wholesale, or manufacturing industries is highly regarded.
- Strong technical knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and tax compliance.
- Excellent communicator with attention to detail and the ability to train and guide others.
