Due to growth in our Corporate Finance function, we are seeking a Group Accountant to join our team on a Full‑Time basis, located out of our Sydney Head Office.

Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, you’ll support accurate and timely financial reporting, month‑end processes, and audit requirements. This hands‑on role suits someone who thrives in a collaborative, high‑performing environment and is eager to grow.

- Exposure to a wide range of stakeholders including Tax, FP&A, Investor Relations, and external partners

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with monthly corporate P&L and consolidated finance reports for senior management and the Board.

- Prepare and reconcile key balance sheet items including prepayments, fixed assets, accruals, and interest expenses.

- Support the preparation of monthly BAS and raise purchase orders for the corporate office.

- Liaise with external auditors during half‑year and full‑year audits.

- Assist in preparing Group Consolidated Financial Statements and technical accounting papers.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of month‑end procedures and reporting processes.

About You

- CA or CPA qualified.

- 3–7 years’ experience, ideally with exposure to group financial reporting and consolidation.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

- Experience in property or a Big 4 background is a plus, but not essential.
