Overview

Southern City Bathroom Renovations is seeking two experienced construction painters. We are a long-established family-owned company located in Bunbury, Western Australia. The role includes painting doors/frames and untiled walls in both new buildings and renovations as part of our comprehensive bathroom renovation service.

Responsibilities

- Erect scaffolding and ladders, and place drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splattering
- Prepare surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, repairing woodwork, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing and sealing surfaces
- Select and prepare paints to required colors by mixing pigments and thinning/drying additives
- Apply paints, varnishes, and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers, and sprays
- Hanging wallpaper, matching patterns and trimming edges
- Repair windows and replace glass in wooden and metal frames as needed
- Ensure proper drying and inspect for defects
- Clean equipment and work areas

Your ordinary workdays are Monday to Friday, between 7 am and 5 pm as arranged. You are expected to manage your time to complete agreed tasks within this timeframe and communicate any variations.

Remuneration

- Annual salary range: $73,150 – $80,000, including 4 weeks of annual holidays
- Fully maintained company vehicle supplied
- All tools and PPE supplied
- Employer superannuation payments in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee (Administration) Act 1992

Requirements

- Looking for candidates available to work: Monday – Friday
- 3 years or more of relevant work experience required
- Work visa can be provided for this role
