Position: Painter. 3 Painters required
Amity Resources Pty Ltd is seeking qualified painters to work under an on-hire arrangement with third-party host employers across Western Australia
Reports to: Workshop / Site Supervisor
Responsibilities
- Prepare metal surfaces by abrasive blasting, sanding, and cleaning to remove scale, rust, and old coatings.
- Apply protective coatings, primers, and paint systems using spray, roller, or brush techniques.
- Mix and match paint or coating materials in line with manufacturer and specification requirements.
- Conduct thickness and quality inspections of applied coatings.
- Maintain and operate blasting equipment, compressors, spray guns, and PPE.
- Work at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors following OHS regulations.
- Adhere to safety and environmental standards, including handling of hazardous materials.
Requirements
- Only applicants with full Australian work rights will be considered.
- Trade qualification or at least 3–5 years’ industry experience as a Painter.
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation and coating standards (AS/NZS, ISO, SSPC).
- Ability to read and follow job specifications, safety procedures, and technical instructions.
- Competence with blasting and spray-painting tools.
- Physically fit to work in demanding environments.
- Commitment to safety and teamwork.
Salary & Conditions
- Base salary: AUD 92,000 per annum +Super
- Full-time role with potential overtime and shift work
