Find your future with us.*We currently have **maximum-term contract** and **permanent** opportunities for trade qualified **Spray Painters** to join our advanced manufacturing site located in **Port Melbourne**. **The roles will primarily be based on day and afternoon shift.** Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for Sealant application, product preparation and painting of various parts and products within the paint shop. These positions will commence in 2026. Our successful team members will enjoy a range of benefits and will be the future of our industry leading organization.**About our benefits:*** Attractive remuneration of $98,697 + 12% Super per annum and annual company bonus with yearly salary increases as per the Enterprise Agreement* Monthly rostered day off* Additional annual Boeing Day off in addition to 20 days of annual leave* Free onsite parking* Strong career progression opportunities* Team based environment along with supportive Team Leaders and Managers* Onsite canteen* New uniform provided yearly, including safety gear and tools* Access to Boeing Discount Program – an exclusive retail and services discount marketplace, including health insurance, travel and accommodation* Salary packaging options available* Excellent work-life balance supporting one of the following shifts: + **Day Shift:** 6am – 2:30pm + **Afternoon Shift:** 2:30pm – 11pm (15% shift loading)**Position Responsibilities:*** Understanding the requirements of quality instructions and detailed drawings* Compliance with BAA and customer quality assurance standards and requirements* Comply with surface finish process specifications and work order specifications* Operate and monitor spray booths & oven specifications* Preparation and painting of final assembled and detailed parts* Use of both hand and pneumatic paint process tools* Complete preparation processes for painting of composite products* Undertake mixing processes and paint application in a production environment* Maintain housekeeping and compliance requirements* Participate in Lean programs by supporting innovation and continuous improvement initiatives in all areas of the business* Participate in health and safety culture and uphold safety & environmental standards**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):*** Australian recognized Trade qualification as a Spray Painter is essential* Relevant experience working as a Spray Painter* Experience in spray painting onto various substrate materials in a high-quality environment* Flexibility to be available across both day and afternoon shift is essential* Ability to read and interpret drawings and work instructions as per specifications* Excellent communication and teamwork skills* Basic use of computer systems* Able to exercise independent judgment* Capable of working under indirect supervision* General knowledge of safety procedures and strong advocate of EH&S* Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia**Additional Information:** This is an Enterprise Agreement position classified as an Aerospace Tradesperson 1.
