Overview

GEM Resourcing is recruiting for a Trade Assistant in Canning Vale, WA 6155. This position is a long-term opportunity to work with a reputable company in the transport and manufacturing space.

Responsibilities

- General yard duties, including working with blasters, painters and transport equipment
- Tidying and housekeeping in a workshop/yards environment
- Forklift or Dogman work when required

Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the following

- A trade assistant background with a desire to work long-term locally
- A mechanical mindset or previous mechanical experience
- A positive, energetic attitude to work within a great company culture
- A hands-on and proactive approach
- Previous forklift experience is preferred
- Living local to Canning Vale WA 6155
- Experience working alongside tradespeople such as blasters, painters and mechanics

To be considered for this position, you must be able to provide the following

- Forklift Licence
- HR Licence
- Reference contact details of two past employers
- Based already in Perth, WA
- Have the right to work in Australia
