Education Manager Operations (Melbourne/Box Hill)

Education and Social Participation | Box Hill, Lonsdale Street | Maximum Term - Full-time

- Fulltime maximum term position to 31 August 2028, based atour Melbourne or Box Hill offices

- Will be required to travel between Melbourne and Box Hillweekly (public transport is accessible)
- Annual salary is $100,790 - $111,369 + 12% super
- The length of employment is 3 years. However, the contractmay be extended based on satisfactory performance.

About the role:

If successful, you will lead and coordinate a team within therelevant Education Hub comprising a Hub Operations Coordinator,teachers, trainers, and administrative employees. The emphasis ofthe position is on the implementation of the Education StrategicPlan and management required to achieve streamlined operations,quality services and financial viability. You will be managingoperations in the delivery of government funded programsincludingAMEP, SEE, Skills First & ACFE.

To be considered for this role, you will be able todemonstrate the following key selection criteria:

- Degree or Diploma in Education, Business, Management orrelated field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working with CALD andother clients to build settlement, employment and/or educationreadiness; including solid experience in providing leadershipto and managing performance of a team of teachers and educationsupport employees
- Sound knowledge of adult education delivery including faceto face, online, digital and blended
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate a team of teachers andprovide leadership and management of effective programdevelopment and delivery
- Demonstrated ability to effectively and efficiently plan,schedule and deliver education programs to CALD and otherclients within budget constraints to meet KPIs and qualityteaching and learning principles
- Demonstrated ability to manage employees includingperformance reviews and quality checks and demonstratedcapacity to provide leadership mentoring and support
- Comprehensive understanding of the regulatory requirements- in regard to quality assurance, compliance, recording andreporting - relevant to Education Programs
- Understanding of the principles of language pedagogy, adultlearning and the needs of culturally and linguistically diverselearners
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant accredited curricula,and the ability to lead the development of contextualisedlearning programs
- Demonstrated business development skills in maintaining andgrowing current business levels according to agreed growthtargets
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant communities,programs and services, and the connections applied betweenthem
- Demonstrated ability to plan and provide individualprogressive pathway counselling to assist clients to detailsteps in educational and training pathways, includingrecognition of overseas qualifications
- Ability to lead colleagues in the use and value of anextensive range of teaching strategies and resources, includingonline and digital options, to optimize learning outcomes
- Extensive knowledge of the education and employment sectorsto effectively drive Foundation Skills and VET programs to meetthe needs of providers and individuals
- Demonstrated understanding of program development
