Overview

Join our friendly OSHC team in Sippy Downs near the University of the Sunshine Coast. We offer before and after school care, plus vacation care for up to 60 children in a caring environment.

At Siena OSHC, we value every child as capable and unique. Our educators create meaningful experiences based on each child’s interests and needs, and we welcome input from children and families to help us grow. We’re looking for a friendly and dedicated Educator to join our team.

Responsibilities

- Providing nurturing care for children
- Ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment
- Creating fun recreational and educational experiences that are inclusive for all
- Maintaining positive working relationships with all team members
- Working collaboratively within an established team to achieve the best outcomes for children and families
- Opportunity to attend fun excursions during vacation care

Job Requirements

- Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services (ACECQA equivalent) or working towards
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- A passion for the education and care of school-aged children in a play-based environment
- Effective workplace communication skills
