We’re seeking a Disability Services Team Leader at our Albury residence to provide support for our clients.
About
Healthscope Independence Services works to help people living with a disability to get the most out of life. For 28 years we have offered community and in-house support in a number of states around Australia promoting a person centred approach to support. We are a passionate team who work with people with disabilities to support them to become independent and live the lives they want to live.
About the Role
As a Team Leader at Healthscope Independence Services, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Residential Supervisor to ensure the smooth and effective operation of our residential site. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll guide and support staff, coordinate training, assist with client services, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
You’ll be responsible for managing your own time and priorities, supporting compliance and quality standards, and helping drive a positive and inclusive culture. Your work will directly contribute to empowering people with disability to have greater choice and control over their lives, in alignment with NDIS and other sector standards.
This is a dynamic role that offers variety across administration, client support, training coordination, and project work, perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative, values-driven environment.
To be successful in this role
You’re a proactive and compassionate leader with a Certificate IV in Disability and a strong understanding of the NDIS and disability sector. You bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities with resilience and resourcefulness.
You’re confident in guiding and motivating staff, building collaborative relationships, and communicating clearly and effectively. You’re committed to continuous learning and quality improvement, and you model Healthscope’s values in everything you do.
To be successful, you’ll need:
- Certificate IV in Disability
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid Certificate
- Compliance with mandatory vaccinations
