About The Contract
Zinfra as a leading infrastructure services provider has been appointed as the new delivery partner for operations and maintenance (O&M) services on AusNet's electricity distribution network.

As part of our growth and commitment to excellence, we are seeking a
Works Ready Team Leader
to join our Planning team and lead the preparation and coordination of work packages for our field delivery teams.

The Role
The Works Ready Team Leader North - Wodonga is responsible for leading a team of Works Ready Coordinators/Planners to ensure the accurate, timely, and efficient preparation of work packages that enable safe and effective field execution.

In This Role, You Will

  • Lead and develop a team of planners located across multiple depots, driving high standards of work readiness.
  • Oversee job scoping, outage management, and materials ordering.
  • Ensure work packages meet compliance, HSEQ, and quality standards.
  • Champion smart work packaging strategies to optimise resources and customer outcomes.
  • Promote and embed the use of digital tools (SAP, UPvise, GIS, mobile platforms) to improve planning efficiency.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex planning issues or customer interface challenges.
  • Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Field Leaders, and AusNet representatives to ensure seamless transition from planning to execution.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Experience in electrical networks, project coordination, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in work planning and order management within the electricity supply industry.
  • A sound understanding of construction, maintenance, scheduling, and network operations.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, GIS tools, and other work management systems.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to coach, mentor, and build team capability.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and risk management skills.
