Are you ready to contribute to shaping the future of health and wellbeing in one of NSW’s most vibrant and diverse regions? South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) is on a bold mission to lead the way in population health—and we’re looking for a visionary Senior Project Officer to help make it happen.
At the heart of our strategic commitment is Keeping People Healthy: SWSLHD Prevention Strategy to 2028—a forward-thinking, holistic approach that recognises the unique needs and circumstances of communities across south west Sydney. This is more than a strategy—it’s a movement to create healthier lives, stronger communities, and lasting impact.
As Senior Project Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in bringing this vision to life. You’ll:
Lead and support the implementation of Keeping People Healthy, working closely with key partners across the district.
Drive innovative, evidence-based initiatives to embed prevention into everyday practice.
We’re seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Officer with a proven track record in delivering impactful, evidence based prevention programs within clinical environments. If you’re passionate about making a difference, thrive in dynamic environments, and want to be part of a team that’s shaping the future of public health—We’d love to hear from you.
Join us and help turn strategy into action, and vision into healthier communities.
What you’ll be doing
The Senior Project Officer - Collaboration will lead planning, implementation and evaluation of agreed priorities between SWSLHD and key internal and external partners. This includes a range of project management and administrative functions. The program of work will vary with a focus on health and wellbeing initiatives tailored to meet the specific needs of the community.

The services provided include prevention, early intervention, and health promotion programs designed to help individuals and families adopt healthy behaviours and avoid illness.
