Southern Grove Primary School (PS) is seeking a passionate, hands-on Primary Teacher - Science Specialist to join our dynamic team of educators dedicated to fostering curiosity, wonder, and a love of learning.

We are looking for an educator who brings Science to life through hands-on, inquiry-based learning experiences that ignite curiosity and a sense of wonder. The successful applicant is encouraged to design innovative lessons aligned with the WA Curriculum, incorporating science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and sustainability principles. They should inspire students to explore, question, and experiment in a safe and engaging environment. Collaboration is key, and the successful applicant should work closely with classroom teachers, education assistants, and leadership to embed Science across the curriculum. You should aim to model a growth mindset and a genuine love of learning — both in students and colleagues. Strong interpersonal and communication skills would be beneficial, as the successful applicant will ideally foster meaningful relationships with staff, students, and families.
