Wirrabirra Primary School is an Independent Public School in the Perth Metropolitan area. We cater for students from Kindergarten to Year Six. The school operates an inclusive program with shared facilities in collaboration with an Education Support Centre to support education programs through teacher expertise from both the Primary School and Education Support Centre.

Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking to establish a pool of Mainstream Education Assistant roles for permanent and fixed-term, full-time and part-time vacancies that may arise during the 2026 school year. Suitable applicants will support teaching and learning by assisting teachers in delivering planned education programs and fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

- Assist with planned education programs and implement individual or small group demonstrations under teacher direction.

- Assist with preparation, storage, and maintenance of equipment, materials and resources used in class.

- Help supervise students during activities outside the classroom and support the general care and wellbeing of students.

- Provide administrative support as required.

Eligibility, Requirements and Selection

Applications will be considered for eligible candidates who:

- are Australian or New Zealand citizens, permanent residents, or hold a valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment.

- obtain a valid Working With Children Check before starting; and

- Demonstrated ability to assist with the general health and wellbeing of students.
